The Fiat Doblò Panorama is the last model to be assembled from January 2025 at the FIAT factory in Tafraoui, after the 500 and Doblò Van (utility vehicle), highly sought after for its configuration and attractive price of 3,349,000 da in a market marked by a significant shortage. While Stellantis aims to produce 60,000 vehicles in 2025 and 90,000 in 2026, currently in April 2025, the first units sold and delivered remain largely insufficient to meet demand.

Even though the government, which encouraged FIAT's presence in Algeria to stem the eight-year automotive crisis, had issued safeguards to prevent the speculation that has plagued the market for a long time.
While it was initially planned that Fiat Algeria would only sell one new car every five years based on a single file, reality quickly reclaimed these rights, as in the past. Many dealers, looking for easy profits, managed to acquire several vehicles under false names and offer them on the parallel market at prices devoid of any common sense. To fully understand the magnitude of the profit, the Doblò Panorama is sold in the Fiat network for 3.35 million dinars and resold at prices generally ranging between 5.4 and 5.9 million dinars, a capital gain of approximately 70%!

On April 10, a ministerial meeting with Fiat Algeria officials was held to examine ways to combat speculation and brokerage in the market for locally manufactured vehicles, particularly the Fiat Doblo Panorama (glass) model.

On the other hand, one of the new key measures taken by Fiat Algeria is the requirement that customers sign a declaration upon purchase, agreeing not to engage in any form of speculation or brokerage, either directly or indirectly.
A directive (reminding) by the Chamber of Notaries not to issue a transfer contract for the Fiat Doblò.

Furthermore: "There will be strict measures, instructions have been given and the justice system will obviously support government institutions for the proper functioning of the national economy and for the interest of ordinary citizens to whom the President of the Republic dedicates his program," declared Minister of Justice Lotfi Boudjemaa.

While some remain skeptical about the effectiveness of this measure and are calling for a definitive solution to the problems related to the acquisition of vehicles (new and used), the situation once again shows the complexity of the situation, in which parasites play a major role.
