Very few of them returned to France after the war.

Writer: COCKPITCOCKPIT

During the war, the French used Willys and Hotschkiss M201 Jeeps in the Saharan version, 400 of which were built. They were parachuted and subjected to severe tests.

They therefore had to be rebuilt, some were made in Algeria, notably in Oran and Constantine, and were thus replaced by the ERGM (Regional Equipment Establishment of Oran).

Very few of them returned to France after the war.
